So, I have this dish washing job, which surprizingly, does not totally suck, however, I might not have it after this review. Great people, upscale wanna be, and best of all, free wireless!
If you only want the good, then read no further.
For about 6 weeks I have been eating raw food (usually in smoothies), and my belly was happily shrinking. this was with potato chips, reviewing a burger each week, and 90 percent of the time (I was not working), I was on my ass, in front of the TV or Computer.
I have been there 20 days and not only is my belly back, but I get out of breath, just bending down. I brought my own food the other day, and they freaked out, like a postal worker.
You see they take off $3 a day for food, and I don’t like meat, but that prime rib stuff is quite nice, unfortunately, I am starting to look like Homer Simpson.
Anyway, being honest, I had a burger there and it would have been one of the worst experiences that I have had, but the total lack of flavour, came as a pleasant surprize (comparatively).
On a burger, wilted old fixings can turn a bad experience into an unforgettably horrible one.
A burger bun is surprisingly important, you see, if you have a thin dry burger, a fluffy, fall apart bun (it is easy to mistake fluffy for fresh) is okay. Now if you have a thick burger (good or not), or one piled high with stuff, you should use a dencer bun that holds togeather throughout the eating experience.
Unfortunately for many restaurants (the Sawmill included), they don’t get it right, usually to the disappointment of customers. I asked the cook about this and the reply was “well, we don’t sell a lot of burgers, this is a steakhouse”. I still think that maybe a steakhouse might know a bit about beef, but that is just my opinion.
Mind you, if you want a nice place with free wireless access, great (but a bit loud) music, and a nice relaxed atmosphere, come to the Sawmill lounge. There you will like it, and if you want to endure what might be the worst burger in town, you can.
By the way, I will gladly pay the three dollars a day, not to eat their food, they really should do better.
Be happy, be good to others, and remember to be good to yourselves
